The small city of Alpharetta carefully maintains its country-style charm, despite being a mere 30 minutes north of the bustling city of Atlanta. Alpharetta's Main Street Market, which occurs April through October, is a shopper's paradise and features an array of antiques, artwork and collectibles. Every May the city is alive during the Taste of Alpharetta festival where restaurants, party-goers and entertainers take to the streets in celebration.
